What is Charity Week?

Charity Week is an Islamic Relief project that has been taking place around the globe since the project was conceptualised in the year 2000. Last year, 8 countries took part. Alhamdulilah, with the help of Allah, collectively we managed to raise €2,183.791,09! We fundraised, we baked, we hiked, but most importantly, we united. Charity Week was founded on the fundamental principle of unity. We believe that we can bring about more change by coming together than staying apart. We absolutely believe that there is strength in numbers. There is strength in us uniting for the causes that matter most.

Our aim

Additionally, Charity Week is a completely volunteer-led initiative and we are eternally grateful to every single brother and sister who donates their time and energy to the cause. Our aim is to not only unite the ummah, but to help orphans and needy children. We fundraise and provide aid under three categories; Education, Emergency, Hunger and Malnutrition. Each year, participants get to have their say in where they think aid should be prioritised. You can find more information about this here

This year the Charity Week Team is organising a National Auction and there will be many interesting items auctioned off! The event will take place in the heart of Dublin in RCSI on Wednesday, the 9th of November at 4:30 pm. We will have everything auctioned off from canvas paintings to amazing cakes to clothes wear donated by companies like Zidouri! You can check out their website here: zidouri.com.
