With the blessed month of Ramadan fast approaching, let’s reflect on the impact our global food distribution had around the globe in Ramadan 2019.
With your generosity we distributed 164,435 food packs in 33 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe, reaching over 900,000 people who struggle to access the food and nutrition they need to stay healthy.
Many of the people we reached have been affected by disasters and are supported by Islamic Relief’s humanitarian emergency programmes. The food parcels allowed them to be better prepared for the month of Ramadan, easing their worries about how to access food with which to start and end their fast.
